Available for children aged 12 years or under.
Experience the magic of riding horses and learn some fun facts about your equine friends. After their ride, children can meet our miniature donkey, Bob and feed a couple of potbellied pigs. There might even be an opportunity to paint one of our ponies with a beautiful rainbow of non-toxic pet paint.
Pony rides are $25 per child for the general public. For children referred to our program by one of our social services partners, lessons are free.
How to Prepare: New riders should wear long pants and close-toed shoes. All riders are required to wear an approved ASTM riding helmet when mounted. Second Star has loaner helmets available for students’ use. Students are required to have a signed liability waiver at the time of arrival.
