Second Star Farm & Wildlife Habitat

For children ages 8 – 18, we offer beginner through intermediate level riding lessons.  Lessons for the general public are $45 per child and include detailed instruction on how to groom and tack up your mount, identify parts of the tack, and the basics of horse health. During your child’s ride, they will work on building strength, balance, and a strong understanding of riding theory. And most importantly, we want them to have FUN and develop a sense of responsibility and pride in their hard work.  For children referred to our program by one of our social services partners, lessons are free.
